Not too many people named Kazmaier we find in Canada. Peter Kazmaier is the author of a speculative fiction series, The Halcyon Cycle. The author has created a complex parallel world in "The Halcyon Dislocation" where a complete University, its students and lecturers are 'dislocated' from their universe. Peter's most recent book "The Battle for Halcyon" describes the struggling people of Halcyon to return to their own space-time.

For"The Battle for Halcyon"  Peter won the 28th Word Awards 2016 in the category Speculative Fiction.
